Spicy Sushi Bowls


Ingredients:
1 – 8 oz. bag of Butler Soy Curls™
Directions:






1 – 8 oz. bag of Butler Soy Curls™
3 cloves fresh minced garlic
1/2 cup Hoisin sauce
1/3 cup Veri Veri Teriyaki sauce
1-2 T (to taste) Sambal Olek ground fresh chili paste
Freshly steamed rice (optional: season with asian "rice seasoning", roasted sesame seeds, and/or bits of dried seaweed.)
Shredded carrots
Chopped green onions
Diced avocado
Chopped cilantro
Diced red bell pepper
Diced cucumber
1/2 cup mayo (optional)
Sweet soy sauce
Step 1:
Soak Soy Curls™ in hot water for 10 minutes and drain. Firmly press out any excess water.

Step 2:
Add to the above:
3 cloves fresh minced garlic
1/2 cup Hoisin sauce
1/3 cup Veri Veri Teriyaki sauce
1-2 T (to taste) Sambal Olek ground fresh chili paste

Step 3:
Combine and marinate in fridge for at least 30 minutes.

Step 4:
Then sautee the marinated Soy Curls™ on med/high heat in a skillet until golden brown.

Step 5:
Serve Spicy Soy Curls™ in bowls over freshly steamed rice. Optional: season the rice with Asian “Rice Seasoning” or roasted sesame seeds and bits of dried seaweed.
Top each bowl with:
Shredded carrots
Chopped green onions
Diced avocado
Chopped cilantro
Diced red bell pepper
Diced cucumber

Add a dollop of spicy mayo dressing – (Recipe: 1/2 cup mayo and 1 T Sambal Olek ground fresh chili Paste). Drizzle with sweet soy sauce.
